How I See A Glass | Photography from Creative Workshop

Apichris Chotichoey’s How I See A Glass is a workshop project on my last year at School of Architecture and Design by Gérard Mermoz. The aim of the project is to experiment with creative looking, by looking at an ordinary familiar object — a glass of water — and producing photographs which transcend the clichés and stereotypes through which such objects are normally perceived and represented in everyday life and in the mass media: product catalogues, publicity, fashion, etc. Although not everyone managed to produce good images in all three categories, everyone has now a basis to develop the project further, and to produce more images, that break away from conventions and open up new aesthetic perspective from the world of objects.
